What is a virtual tour?

Imagine you are stood in the middle of the room and turn 360 degrees. This is exactly what the viewer of a 360 degree virtual tour will see with the added abilities of being able to zoom in and out as they wish.

What are the advantages of virtual tours?

Virtual tours are most commonly used in the real estate and hotel/hopitality sectors. The reason for this is because a 360 degree virtual tour is the best way to showcase the product, in this case the product being a house, a hotel room or a function room for example. Instead of a static picture of one area of a room, viewers can get a 360 degree view of the entire room, hence the name a “virtual tour”.

Here are some facts relating to Real Estate:

What preparation should I do before the shoot?

You are showcasing your property to the world so make sure it is completely de-cluttered and looking as spacious and as inviting as it can be. It's worthwhile putting in the extra effort just this once as hundreds of potential viewers will be watching!

How long does the photo shoot take?

The photo shoot usually takes around 60-90 minutes depending on the size of the property and if we are taking still photos as well as virtual tours. We then spend approximately 1 hour post processing the pictures in order to make the pictures and virtual tours as eye-catching as possible

How long before I can have my tours?

In most cases we will have the tours uploaded onto the property portals by the end of the following day, however on a quiet day it would be possible to have them ready on the same day.
